Why Eligo
We're not the next Indeed. We're the tool Frontline forgot to ship.
Recruiting tech is crowded. We're honest about that. Our wedge is narrower and uglier — and harder to copy: credential pre-screening for high-frequency K-12 sub shifts, with a warm-start district roster so day one isn't a cold-start ghost town.
| Dimension | Eligo | Frontline | symplr | Indeed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who it's built for | K-12 sub coordinators | District CIO / HR director | Hospital systems | Anyone with a job to post |
| Credential pre-screening | Built-in, expiry-aware | Module add-on | Yes (healthcare-only) | None |
| Time-to-pilot | Same day | 3-9 months | 6-12 months | Minutes (but unscreened) |
| Pricing model | Capacity-based ($299–custom) | Per-seat enterprise | Per-seat enterprise | Per-click / per-listing |
| Active openings included | 2 / 10 / Unlimited | Negotiated per contract | Negotiated per contract | Pay per listing |
| Sub-shift workflow | First-class screen | Yes, but legacy UX | Healthcare shifts | Generic job posts |
| Mid-market fit | Yes — 1 to 30 schools | Mostly large districts | Large health systems | Any size, low signal |
Honest take
Credential pre-screening alone isn't a moat.
Frontline and symplr can rebuild what we ship. We win by being the tool a sub coordinator actually opens at 6:30 AM — not the one the CIO bought four years ago. Retention in one vertical, then expansion. Healthcare is a distraction until then.
